ASG Supports Sports Video Industry with Sports Video Group Sponsorship
EMERYVILLE, CALIF., July 17, 2018 – Advanced Systems Group (ASG), a leading media technology integration, engineering, and managed services firm, has become a sponsor of Sports Video Group, effective July 2. Representatives from ASG’s New York-based team will attend SVG’s 12th annual Sports Content Management & Storage Forum next week at the Westin New York at Times Square.
SVG was established in 2006 to be an educational resource for sports video professionals. The organization connects leagues, teams, players, and owners with broadcasters, webcasters, and technology providers to improve sports production and distribution as well as the overall consumer sports experience. ASG’s new sponsorship provides opportunities for educational outreach, networking, and industry support.
Ken Kerschbaumer, co-executive director of SVG, said ASG’s sponsorship gives SVG members the ability to “develop deeper relationships with their team at our conferences and networking events during the year. Our members need solid project support, and ASG’s wide range of expertise and strong ties with a wide range of other SVG sponsors makes them a valuable addition to the SVG family.”
“ASG already works with a number of sports organizations, and joining SVG allows us to extend our connections and our knowledge of the group’s challenges,” explained Dave Frederick, ASG head of marketing. “Shared storage is one of ASG’s core competencies, and events like the upcoming forum allow us to get feedback from within the sports video community. We look forward to contributing to the conversation and sharing information about our innovative solutions.”
