Advanced Systems Group (ASG) has been named a title sponsor of the Silicon Valley Video Summit (SVVS), Jan. 26 at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA.  This inaugural industry event will offer a vital exchange of Broadcast and Big Tech thought-leadership right in the heart of Silicon Valley.

“As a technology leader in the Bay Area, ASG’s title sponsorship of our inaugural event is key to making sure that our event sessions and speakers address the most relevant topics and answer the most timely questions faced by corporate users of broadcast and video technology,” says SVVS Executive Producer Martin Porter

Registration is now open and is free of charge to ASG customers, other qualified video and broadcast production professionals, and event sponsors. To register visit: https://siliconvalley.video/register/

Peter Thordarson, Silicon Valley Video Summit 2023 Program Chair and former chief production engineer at Microsoft Studios, shares the program vision for the summit.

SVVS is produced by SVG, which has served the information needs of the live production industry since 2006.  As an event sponsor, the SMPTE San Francisco Chapter is programming several conference sessions.

ASG key accounts manager and SMPTE San Francisco Chapter membership director for student outreach John Shike will be speaking about the M&E industry’s need to train a “next-generation” workforce.

Other conference sessions include:

  • “Digital First” Transforms Live Event Production and Technology
  • How to Manage a Remote Video Production Workforce
